I am a grandmother in her late 50's.I weight almost 300 lbs. I have lost 65 lbs but am having a time keeping it off. I have soon to be 12 grandchildren. I had osteoarthritis in my knees and lower back and I am very overy weight. I want to be able to play with my grandchildren and have fun with them. I am a student at Walden University. I am working on obtaining my PhD in psychology. I have support from my husband .

I gained lots of weight back and had lots of medical problems. My COPD and CHF started to give me problems. My feet swelled all the time and I could hardly walk. I finally found a doctor to help me and now I am seeing a nationally known weightloss Dr. to see if he can help me. I am at a high risk for lapband so we decided to try thi other route. Last Aug. I started to do some things and now I was able to lose down to where I started from. Only this time I know the feeling of being overweight and not being able to enjoy life. I am working on my diet end at this point. The doctor tells me in a couple more weeks I will have enough energy to want to exercise and do more. I already feel a lot better now than I did last month.

I joined Inches-A-Weigh Weight Loss Center for Women. I exercise 6 days a week.

I have added 6 vegetaables and Fruits to my diet a day.
I drink 80 oz. water daily

    Hello.I'm Alexa, I live in Europe, I have 295 pounds or 134kgs and I want to get to 67 kg in over a year but for now I just want to set smaller goals. Like 75 pounds or 34kg in 6 months.
    I'm looking for 2-3 or 5 members to join me as sparkbuddy in a private team where we oblige each other to weight weekly and check on what have we done about the diet and exercise.

    The team I created is called 75 POUNDS/34 KG to lose in 6 months

    The idea is to join people who have lots of pounds or kgs to lose but they want to diet in smaller bits, for the start let's say we reach 100 kg.
