Hi my name is Tressa and I need to lose 100 pounds. I just had my second baby and because I am an older mother I need to get healthy so I can be around for my kids while they grow up.
I am starting over again after losing weight with SparkPeople last year (and I was very successful with it!) - But in the middle of my weight loss with Spark I found out that I was pregnant again! So I put my weight loss on hold. This pregnancy did it to me like the last time... I gained weight...but only 15 pounds instead of 60... so that is good! (But the 15 pounds makes my ticker look sad. ).. Even so I did not gain all of my old weight back so ... Yay!...

I would like remind the old pals who I am and introduce myself to the new ones so here goes :

I am a 38 year old stay at home mom... And this is my plan: This time I am going to lose all the weight... but not only that - I am going to keep it off once I get there.
* When I get to my goal weight I am going to spend a week on the beach somewhere... and I am going to wear nothing but a bathing suit for the whole week.
* I would like to have enough energy to keep up with my son and daughter... Collin (just turned 3) and Caelidh (newborn)...
* I would also like to be able to cross my legs like a lady and not like a man. (I accomplished that right before I got preg... but back to man crossing again)
* I want to get rid of my giant stomach and be able to work out without having to modify the exercises because my stomach is in the way.
* I can't wait until I have a picture of myself with only one chin.
* I would also like to be able to get health insurance - (I have been turned down because of my weight)

My top 10 reasons to lose weight:

1) to be able to do fun things with my children without getting winded
2) To have perfect health
3) I want to tell my body to do anything (like a hand stand) and then be able to do it.
4) I want to feel energized
5) so I can get a job without getting "the look" maybe as a wellness coach
6) so I will look good in a bathing suit
7) I want to shop in a regular sized store.
8) no physical restrictions
9) I would like to feel sexy again.
10) so I can dance all night long. I'll do it too!

My Goals:
I want to lose weight and help others with their weight loss goals along the way.

My Program:
The four golden rules:

1. When I am hungry I will eat

2. I will eat what I want not what I think I should

3. I will eat consiously and enjoy every mouthful (putting down my fork between each bite and chewing 20 times)

4. When I am full I will stop eating.

right now I am eating:
2 servings veg
2 servings fruit
3 protiens
2 whole grains
(1 serving =1cup or 8 oz) itreally is a lot of food but it fits in my calorie range... it is working so far so I will probably stick with it. It's a pretty easy diet to do away from home also.
Drink 8oz. water a day
30 cardio3Xweek
30 strength 3X week

Personal Information:
I am Tressa from Ashland MO and I am 38 years old, wife of Pablo and mother of Collin and Caelidh. I like to travel and go camping... I want to look good in a swimsuit because that is somthing I really miss... when I get to my goal weight I am going to have a vacation on a beach somewhere. Hopefully Mexico.

    I’ve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, it’s a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!

    Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. I’ve been here for over a year now, and I still am overwhelmed, every day, by the kindness and goodness of others on this team!! That has made a world of difference for me.     Just wanted to check in and see how you're doing! Hope all is well!
    I found some AMAZING EFT scripts that have been VERY helpful to me and I wanted to share them with you! They are:

    1) The Self-Acceptance EFT video on Youtube by the tapping.com guy ( Very intense - -drink water and do Chakra clearing afterward!)

    2) The Chakra Clearing by the same guy - -it may not be on youtube anymore but it's on his regular website: www.tapping.com

    She has a free 9 part series on weight loss but my favorite is the "Blocks to Weight Loss" about 5-7 minutes long -FANTASTIC
