I began logging onto sparkpeople in 2009 and I lasted about a month before I fell off the bandwagon. Well, I just had my second baby and I'm ready and determined to get healthy. He's six weeks old and by the time he is 1, I'd like to have reached my fitness goals. I have around 50 pounds to lose to reach my goal and I'm ready to do that. I'd also like to participate in the annual Missions Marathon that we hold at our church. My hubby and I are the youth pastors and coordinators of the event and I feel like I need to step up and be an example for my teenagers.

My Goals:
1-Feel healthy and comfortable in my own skin.

2-Stop being so lazy about cleaning my house...I hate cleaning but it needs to get done.

3-In nice weather, get outside with my kids at least 4 days a week.

4-Cook dinner at home 6 days a week. It may take more planning but I think frequent fast food trips is part of what got me into this mess.

5-Reduce stress levels by reading and praying more. There's nothing like spending time with my Savior to fell the peace.

My Program:
1-Walking/jogging (treadmill on cruddy days). P90x! Playing with my kids outside as much as possible. Drama team with the youth group. Softball team in the spring. Also, invest in a scale and refuse to fear the number it tells me.

2-Do two things every day that I don't want to do in regards to cleaning. Taking time every Saturday to clean the big areas (kitchen and BR's).

3-Get up to take my husband to work, allowing me the car, in order to make this possible.

4-Plan dinners as much as possible on Sundays for the whole week.

5-Follow a devotional plan.

Personal Information:
I've got two awesome reasons to get fit--their names are Joshua and Jeremiah! I will log my weeks on here every Monday with a weigh in. Next Monday, I'll log my starting weight.

I love to read so send me suggestions. Please no self help things, though...never could get into those.
