Joining a team helps to bring you together with others who share your interests which helps with accountability, motivation, and support.

    Follow the spark suggestions for the beginners during the first couple of weeks. On your start page [the page with the trackers] on the upper right side, you will see a tab that says "HOW TO USE THIS SITE." Tracking your food will help you see what you are doing right and wrong. My husband is a Type 2 Diabetic, so I have tried to read the many articles that Spark has available about Diabetes.

    To both give and receive support, I suggest joining and participating in at least one Spark TEAM. When you signed up, SP offered you a "Spark Class" which is a team for the newbies who signed up the week you did.
