Hey, I really appreciate your thoughtful comment on my running blog. I have been a little overwhelmed with the comments lately, but I do love reading them all. Endorphins are amazing! I read that they can fulfill the role of the brain chemicals (dopamine?) that are produced by eating delicious-but-bad-for-you food. Awesome. 2586 days ago

Hey! Thanks for the add and the goodie!! I really appreciate your support! You are the first person to add me as a friend on here who I did not already know from work (with the exception of SparkGuy).. I know we can do this together! Feel free to hit me up anytime with an email or comment! I'd love to get to know you better! What kind of work do you do? What have been your greatest hurtles so far? Etc. Thanks again, Jessica 2586 days ago

Hi! Thanks for reading my blog I really appreciate the support. I wanted to drop by and return the support!
Yeah, sweets have always and still are a weakness for me. I've learned to be proactive, as in I don't cut sugar out of my life, instead I'm trying to exchange and find better ways of getting my sugar fix lol. In the beginning it was stuff like 100 calorie packs, frozen yogurt, and graham crackers. Now it's fruit. The best way to avoid the temptation is to be compassionate to yourself. I always have sweet snacks around, in the form of a bowl of fruit etc and I let myself indulge whenever I feel like it. And I've avoided being around the hard stuff (cakes etc.) until I felt like I was capable of saying no. It's been and is a long process, but it's possible and I know you are getting there!
