Hi my name is Dymond Jaydah Cox, my friends call me jay or preshus(precious) becuase of my name dymond. I am 24 years of age. I come from the beautiful island of St. Lucia, located in the Caribbean. The caribbean, other than diverse cultures and beautiful people(among other things) offer SUN SUN SUN and beach, so you see the need to always stay trim, and fit...i want to be a bikini- babe....
Growing up i have always been really thin..with a washboard stomach and a body to die for, however as time progressed fat started building up and the illusion that i would always be slim came crashing down before me when i noticed i had a little pouch. To top it all off people stated mocking me and making mention of the fact that i was getting fact. At first it never bothered me, but then the teasing started getting out of hand, where people made it sound like i was 360 lbs overweight. Atleast that what it felt like. I became depressed about it all, my life was going downhill. Everytime i saw a young girl, with a flat stomach or a thin girl i would feel jealous and long to be be that thin. I did Denise Austin daily work-outs but in my mind that was not enough. Religiously for 1 month i did the 8 mins work out, but even that too was not producing fast results.I researched anorexia online and wanted the easy way out, but that was not the answer...i went down that road before and im not going down that road again. I also researched bulimia, but man must I say its really really had to push yr hand down yr throat and have yrself vomit. None of these things worked for me.
One day while doing a fitness ball workout on you tube i came across this website and i liked what a saw. A community of persons to motivate me, a community of persons going through the same ups and downs as I am going through.....and here I am now..from 138 to 124lbs in one month..thanx to sparkpeople....people no longer call me fat....but fit.. and i feel "DAMN GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!! what a difference an 'I" can do when it replaces the "A" in fat..-fit

My Goals:
1.To maintain an active and healthy life style.
2. To feel good about myself. Confident.
3. To have flat abs.
4.. To lose 20 lbs for my Uncle's wedding in july.

My Program:
Be as active as i possibly can and eat as healthy as i possibly can. This would mean:
Eat a light meal for breakfast and dinner and something heavy for lunch. However I can also eat a heavy breakfast, light lunch and dinner. My aim is to never EVER go to bed on a hungry stomach.
Cut down n fatty foods, cut down on my bread intake and processed foods eat take.
Drink more water.
As for fitness....
Work out for aleast 30 mins a day.
Walking, skipping
Hip hop Abs and the wordks
