Hopefully my "Fate & Destiny" will be Health & Hapiness in the New Year!
I have been fighting my weight my entire life. I am now determined to come to terms with a lifestyle change in both my eating habits and fitness. I am on a long journey but more determined than ever. I need to remember to take this "one day at a time" and to celebrate the successes along the path! A healthy lifestyle is not a destination - it is a lifelong journey!

My Goals:
My Goals are: To be Fit & Healthy! I am looking for small signs of success - such as my slacks fitting better, no longer being out of breath from walking a flight of stairs or tying my shoes, and - for each week, to have the scale reflect a slightly lower number that the week before!
My Program:
I have made a commitment (to myself!) to combine the basics - exercise 3x per week and to make better food choices and of course...portion control. I need to remember to celebrate the small successes along the journey - and set small interim goals!

Hello - My Name is Barbara - I am from Long Island, NY
My Passion: I love animals - I have a Rottie who is my "Daughter"!!!
My Favorite Movie: Moonstruck.
Other Information:
Never Give Up! Watching the scale take a downward turn and my fitness level, confidence, appearance & overall health spiral upwards are just some of the many rewards of losing excess weight.
Remember to always make time to prepare your breakfast & lunch before leaving the house because..."when you fail to plan.......you plan to fail". I know this has worked for me!!!
