Before I got pregnant, I was making great progress with my weight loss. I had lost 70 pounds and was about 15 pounds from my goal weight. My healthy journey ended when I became pregnant and continued after I'd had my son. I developed hypothyroidism, and it took 6 months to get my levels back to normal.

Life has been rough since then. Lots of stress at work and at home have derailed pretty much every effort. But you know the saying: fall down seven times, get up eight. I'm up and ready to do this.

Fitness Minutes: 46,056

My Goals:
These are a work in progress, so I'm not there yet - but give me time!

* Be mindful of what I'm putting in my mouth and log my food. (Progress, not perfection.)
* 20 minutes of exercise daily ... 4 days cardio, 3 days yoga, with light strength training as needed.
* One caffeinated beverage per day during the week but no more than two on the weekend.
* Drink at least 4 cups of water per day.
* Be in bed by 11:00 pm during the week.
* Swear less. :-D
* Speak daily affirmations!
* Give and accept compliments freely.
* Listen to the news every day.

My Program:
* Consistently log my nutrition as accurately as possible, focusing on what I'm eating and not necessarily staying within my calorie range. That will come later.
* Consistently log my fitness activity as accurately as possible.
* Exercise 20 minutes per day. Current plan: cardio and yoga, with some light strength training

Personal Information:
I'm a married mother of one special needs kindergartner and one dog. I work as a paralegal.

Other Information:
Gaming is my passion! Whether it's on the PC, a console, or just sitting around the kitchen table, you're likely to find me de-stressing, laughing, and having a great time.

    Thank you so much for the encouragement and comment on my blog. That was really sweet of you! I was getting too interested in the scale so this week I am focusing on physical activity. Much healthier and better for me I think! emoticon

    I do have a wii but unfortunately I don't have the money for any games right now. I'm going to put Walk It Out on my amazon wishlist so that I can buy it in the future when I do have the ability to do so.
