I've been a member of SparkPeople for years and it's long past time I returned and started taking advantage of all these tools.
I've done well on Weight Watchers in the past but the second I stop paying for meetings the weight comes back on. Well I reminded myself that SparkPeople can do the same for me and for free!
So this time around, I've moved to a new city and I'm in graduate school. I decided to take it easy this semester, I want to be able to get back into the swing of school without a lot of stress as the last couple years have been incredibly stressful for me. I also want to use this extra time to get my health back on track. Last year my focus was to get my brain sharpened, get into graduate school and jump into classes. Well even though it was really tough to work full-time in one city and take the train 2 hours one-way to classes and still be a wife I did it! So 2010 is the year for me to build on that success and focus on cooking and eating healthy and exercising again. So wish me luck!

My Goals:
My goal right now is to lose 15lbs by my 27th birthday on June 1st.

My Program:
My husband and I have agreed on NO MORE FAST FOOD and NO MORE EASY DINNERS. I'm making a point of cooking healthy meals, tracking everything I consume, and incorporating more movement into my life every day.

Personal Information:
Well I'm a 26 yr. old grad student. I've struggled with my weight most of my life and when I almost tipped the scale at 200lbs (dude, I'm only 5'2") I said enough's enough and I need to take responsibility for my body.

    Welcome to the Weight Watchers Friends team! I hope you'll consider reading the nutrition information here on SparkPeople and using the tracker. The exercise habit is good; however, it is difficult if not impossible to lose weight without paying attention to nutrition and portions. Start with some small steps!
