Replacing the Food feeling with Progress!
Today is the first day of the rest of my life...I will succeed!
I started off at my heaviest 278 lbs and so far into a hole of dispair that I thought I would never climb out! I decided one day, after a friend asked me if I wanted to see my kids grow up, she took me to a mirror and said "If you stay like this, you won't" She was my doctor. I changed my ways of thinking about food that day. I realized that I needed to eat to live, not live to eat. I was ballooning out of control ...

I decided one day, after a friend asked me if I wanted to see my kids grow up, she took me to a mirror and said "If you stay like this, you won't" She was my doctor. I changed my ways of thinking about food that day. I realized that I needed to eat to live, not live to eat. I was ballooning out of control and needed to pop the balloon and fast! I DID!
I 'm starting SP again at 236, frustrated at the fact I have gained my weight back but realize I am human and sick and tired of having food control me! My heaviest was 278 lbs and at a time where I thought I was "stuck". I have found that the scale is my biggest downfall, and emotional eating. My plan is to weigh with a friend once a week like our own little WW program, be around positive people and more importantly, say something positive once a day about myself. I am going to try and not worry about what those numbers on the scale say, because they don't have a control over me anymore, I will measure monthly because those are the numbers that mean ALOT!

My goal is to be healthy so I can live to see my children grow up, to start teaching them ways I want them to live, and to shed a few pounds in the process.
My Program:
Weight Watchers and working out, no other plan works long time. PERIOD. :)
Personal Information:
My name is Ginger and I live in Anderson Ohio. I am divorced and am raising 2 beautiful boys ages 9 and 13.
I am a labor and delivery nurse and a professor at a local University. I have been working in maternity for over 18 years. I work day shift which has helped this past year with weight loss!
I love to be outside with my boys and want to be able to do more with them as a healthier person. I want them to learn now how important the issue of food is so they don't struggle with the issues I have!
Other Information:
You will come to know that what appears today to be a sacrifice will prove instead to be the greatest investment that you will ever make.
