Hello, my name is Heather. I started this weigh loss journey at 227 lbs back on Nov 15, 2005. My original journey started at 239 lbs a year before, but was put on hold during a pregnancy.
Here I am again, after illness, injury, arthritis, back at 239, looking for help and support to reach my goals (again).

A little about me. I was SAHM (stay at home mom) of 2 girls, Celina and Serenity for almost 14 years. I now work a full time job since Feb 2009. It's been a BIG adjustment, but I love it.

I also have 5 babies who are home with the Lord (preemies).

I am a born again christian, have been almost my entire life.

I have finally graduated my fitness and nutrition course, with honors!
You know the saying though, "It's easier to give advise than to take it."

Things I like to do. I like crafty and artsy fartsy kinds of stuff. I cross-stitch, draw, paint (oil on canvas), make computer graphics just for fun. I also really like to read. Fantasy type stuff is my favorite. But any book I can feel like I've been swept into that world and carried away is a great one.

I like to be a clown. It's just in my nature I guess, but I am usually the one you find doing goofy things. I do a real good impression of a pigeon, want to see? LOL.

My Goals:
My goals are to be healthier, to run and play with my kids, and finally reach my goal weight of 135 lbs.


My Program:
I follow the meal plan based on the one at BLC.

Currently I am doing turbo jam, training for a half marathon and the upcoming muddy buddy.



Personal Information:
I am a nut, plain and simple. I'm the one who will at first be shy in the corner and not saying much. But once I open up, WATCH OUT! Then I become the one who's trying to make everyone laugh! I'm such a goof ball!


Other Information:
Some of my favorite things, art... drawing, painting, sketching..
And crafts, cross-stitch, plastic canvas, some needle-point.
I like to read also, especially fantasy.
