I am a mid 40's female that has arthritis so no longer can run/do Hi energy exercise and I am trying to lose weight for better overall health (for me and my joints) and look great on my wedding day. I have daughters and grandchildren.

I want to live life to the fullest being 44 I know I can still have a great next 20 years............ and beyond.
I want to set a great role model so my daughters and grandchildren know that no matter what your age you can do anything you set your mind to and be healthy.

My Goals:
To lose 30 more lbs

To be healthy and able to move better even into my 70's and 80's

To drink more water
To be nicer to people
To be more optimistic
To eat 3 -4 more veggies and fruits per day

My Program:
So I track everything.....once in awhile I stray but mostly not. I do give myself a day a month to eat what I wish or I as a FOOD LOVER will fall off the band wagon..... I exercise 6 days a week and I am finally seeing the light! I just adding in strength training to my walk at home DVDs and will mix it up again in a few weeks. I believe that is the key.

I am in Central PA and have 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren. I am engaged to a wonderful man that treats me great. I cannot wait to start our lives together. My name is Pam.

Other Information:
My life is simple yet full. 2 daughters still live at home one a senior- we always talk about everything and it is truly wonderful that I am able to stay home and be part of their lives. They encourage me daily and love that I can help them with issues in their lives. I did the rat race for a few decades as a single mom.

    Thanks everyone!! Been in the blues for a few months...... I am now an empty nester at 45 and my cat passed away at 14, so last 3 months have been hard. I m slowly getting back to smiling and being my old self but I know it will take time. I am still at 163 so at least I didn't gain weight. HUGS to everyone!! emoticon
