Board Posts I am again. I originally joined Sparkpeople after giving birth to my first daughter. I had 'vowed' to change and had started out pretty good, but then the old habits started creeping up again until I just eventually gave up on the whole weight loss thing altogether. I could take the cop out and say that I was busy with my newborn daughter, but I know that that is just my excuse. I mean, if I was that hungry, I could have just as easily reached for a bag of air-popped popcorn instead of a kit-kat.
So now, here I am, dare I say, nearly five years and an additional daughter later, ready to give it a go again. I recently celebrated my 30th birthday and I'm just plain fed up with the way I have looked and felt for these past three decades.
I'm not going at this all 'gimicky' or anything-I think that's what's prevented me from having long-term success in the first place. This 'Me and LB' thing is just my way of recognizing my weight as a 'load-bearing', 'life-change bringing' pound-for-pound battle to the end-or to the health as I would hope.

So, here's to round...

~Finally learn to enjoy drinking water (or at least tolerate 8 8-oz glasses a day)
