Hello!! Thank you for dropping by, I am so glad to have you! My name is Stephenie and I’m a 27-year old mama to an energetic toddle; wife to an engineer husband; & together we live in North Alabama with our lazy Bichon doggy! I am a dedicated Beachbody Coach, Shakeology-aholic, Turbo Fire diva & love every minute of it! My peak weight was over 200 pounds (the last recorded weight was 204 at 36 weeks pregnant, I had my son two days later). It was a huge struggle for me to lose the “baby weight” (inches & pounds!) and get in the mindset to appreciate my “new body” knowing that it would never be what it once was — I now love my stretch marks, they remind me of the love I carried for 254 days & the joy I wake up to every day, my bubbly, smiley, healthy son.
When I first started Shakeology in September 2012 I wasn’t thinking anything would come out of it except that I’d drink this shake daily and work out. Soon though, with the amazing support of my coach Krysten, I began loving everything that Beachbody was about! I learned that I could really do this once & for all, to get to my pre-pregnancy weight and then some! She lost all the baby weight after her son and is doing it now after having her daughter. So, I set out to do this for myself. And my son. He deserves having a healthy, active mama to chase him around the park.
I signed up for TurboFire by Chalean Johnson. Several years back I did her TurboJam program and absolutely loved it. It got me in shape for my wedding and kept me in shape after. Most of the routines were the same so it was an easy transition for me. My favorite DVDs are HIIT 20 & Fire 55. Some days I have a real hard time getting the energy to pop in the DVD, but once I do I am thankful that I did because it takes my cravings away, wakes me up without caffeine and is one step closer to my goal! In fact, the first month I got real serious with it I lost 9″ (chest, waist, hips combined). My weight had stabilized and hadn’t budged in the first quarter of the year, so I committed to The Ultimate Reset, a 21 day challenge cleanse where I lost 9 pounds in the first two weeks! I struggled to finish the reset the final week because none of the food was appetizing for me. I plan to start the Reset all over in July with my mother-in-law, where I will commit to and finish the full program.
*June 2013* Currently I am working out five days a week with Slim in Six. I look forward to T25 coming out so I can do that instead. After a vacation, my husband going on a business trip, a heat wave and stress… I have gained back those 9 pounds I lose on the Reset. Such is life, right? I am back on track and ready to shed them again, as well as get bikini ready for the beach this September!
