Thats great that you have found health benefits with this move to AL! I'm about 70 miles inland from the Gulf and the high humidity always makes a 90 degree day feel more like a 105+ degree day. I don't mind a dry heat, but the humidity just makes you sweat and feel drained day after day! On the plus side, I have great skin because of the climate and people are amazed when I tell them how old I really am and that I don't use any special skin products. (I probably fool them too because I listen to top 40 music in addition to Country and know most of the words to the songs) I have to walk the dog at 6 am before it gets to hot. If we don't head out before 8 am its already too hot and humid by then to walk until the evening, and then we deal with mosquitos! Congratulations on your successful weight loss thus far! Thanks for adding me as a friend! I'm sure you have already noticed that there is a BIG difference in the temperatures between Washington State and Alabama. I moved from New York State to the Gulf Coast Region of Texas years ago and remember the first summer in the heat and humidity nearly did me in! Any place that has air conditioning is where you will want to spend time this summer until you get acclimated to the climate! 2864 days ago
