Introduction Text SPARKPEOPLE is so supportive in many ways. When I joined SP in 2010, my cat, Michael, controlled my SparkPage and you had to "figure out WHO was speaking". HE named my page "onegreatcat". 2012 update: I lost "Michael" May 3rd. Due to my "older" age, Michael is my last pet. Jan., 2015 update: Breast cancer. Caught early! YAY! May, 2015 - Radiation done; all is good. "Cancer free" May, 2016 - 4 years after having stated I'd never have another pet....Dickens arrived. WOW! Oct., 2016 - due to intended move & other factors, I had to give Dickens back to original "owners". He's happy on a farm. Sept., 2017 - 2 yrs., 9 mos. later still cancer free Nov. 2018 - still cancer free. Still being monitored. Jan. 2021 - praying the World soon becomes Covid free

In 2010 = getting healthier I WON THAT BATTLE. 2011 primarily maintenance. 2012 = work harder! 2013 = work harder! 2014 = start OVER! 2015 = battling breast cancer! 5/2015 = "Cancer free"

Following the SP program as much as possible.

I'm a widow and live in rural PA. My children and immediate family are all deceased. I keep "chugging" along!

I like to read, sew, garden, walk and be with all my friends. Not fond of traveling. I love jigsaw puzzles and building things.
