I am a student and I have been trying to figure out how to balance a healthy lifestyle while studying. Usually I start the term out well, I go to the gym frequently, eat healthy and mostly within my calories. By midterm I start feeling the stress and I start thinking that i don't have time for the gym and cooking healthy becomes less of a priority. Sitting with my nose in my text almost all day and not paying too much attention to my calories always makes me gain back the weight I have worked hard to lose.
I am starting to get better at keeping a healthy lifestyle and dealing with the stress of studying at the same time. But it is HARD! If you have some tips please share them!

My Program:
I do various cardio at the gym. Usually I do 2 or 3 machines (elliptical, treadmill, bike, occasionally step and rowing machines) to mix it up a bit. I love too challenge myself and beat my own records.

For strength training I normally do pump class at the gym. I LOVE pump!

Right now I am reading Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. It is by far the most realistic program I have seen yet... I will let you know after though :)

Personal Information:
I am a Winnipeger (Canada). Although I have lived for short periods of time all over Canada with my previous job! I really discovered how truely beautiful Canada really is! Even Toronto can be nice...eheheh.
I had also spent a year and a half in England. I really miss it there and sometimes I am torn between the two countries.

    oh thank you so much. that blue top is from Vienna and we got it together so he knows how i look in it. but i plan a shopping spree this week ;)

    at least we get to talk daily and see each other over 3g, so it is getting a bit easier. 11 more days!

    I don't know how on earth I found your page (perhaps through a thread and I visited someone's page and you were one of their friends or something ...) Anyway, I'm here and I'm saying hi.

    I'm from Winnipeg, too, although born in England, so I feel drawn to both countries as well.

    What book are you writing?
    And what course work are you taking that you are almost finished?

    by the way - you can do 3 regular push ups? Woo-hoo! That's one of my goals for this year. I'm up to 31 or 32 modified push ups (I 'graduated' from wall push ups a couple of weeks ago). I hope to be doing regular ones before too long!
