I am completely over feeling larger than a helium balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I am just going to "SAY NO" to being a beached whale. I am tired of watching my body parts travel south below the equator. A double chin would be a blessing because in my case, I have chins exponentially! Despite my recent spate of health issues which significantly limit my physical activity- I WILL SUCCEED!!!

Fitness Minutes: 13,735

My Goals:
1) To start eating 3 healthy meals daily instead of my usual one per day.
2) To become as physically fit as my limitations allow.
3) To sleep more than my usual 2-3 hours per night.
4) To thank God, because this all could be a lot worse.

My Program:
1) Record my food intake for accountability.
2) Find a yoga class for those with physical limitations.
3) Find a mask that fits properly so that I can use my C-PAP machine nightly and not rip the mask in my sleep.
4) PRAY !!

Personal Information:
Born on Friday the 13th and I always say that was my 1st mistake. Originally from Chicago and that was NO mistake, I love Chicago. 3 grandparents from Ireland & 1 from Scotland. 3 wonderful children and 4 awesome grandchildren. Blessed with a "ton" of interests and a load of enthusiasm.

Other Information:
Avid reader, lexicographer in my dreams. Learning to play the mandolin, ukulele, harmonica, and bodhran (Irish drum). Enjoy too many crafts. Have a passion for gourmet food and good old home cooking. If I ever lose my sense of humor...then I guess that this party is OVER !!

Found this poem this morning while searching for some motivation, hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

    Anything is Possible
    By Unknown

If there was ever a time to dare, to make a difference, to embark on something worth doing, IT IS NOW.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily...
but for something that tugs at your heart, something that's your inspiration, something that's your dream.
You owe it to yourself to make your days here count.

Know, though, that things worth doing seldom come easy.
    There will be good days.
And there will be bad days.
There will be times when you want to turn around, pack it up, and call it quits.
Those times tell you that you are pushing yourself, that you are not afraid to learn by trying.

Because with an idea, determination, and the right tools, you can do great things.
Let your instincts, your intellect, and your heart, guide you.

Believe in the incredible power of the human mind.
Of doing something that makes a difference.
    Of working hard.
    Of laughing and hoping.
    Of lazy afternoons.
    Of lasting friends.
Of all the things that will cross your path this year.
The start of something new brings the hope of something great, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
