I've tried every fad diet out there and in the end the results were all the same: I starved, I became moody, I became a late night binge eater, and I wasted alot of money on false hopes and empty promises!

Before starting back on SP (9/5/2012) I made some major lifestyle changes. I did a complete makeover on my eating habits after reading "Food Rules" by Michael Pollan - and while adapting to that lifestyle I dropped 34lbs.

Now here I am on SP working towards many mini goals of weight loss, improved health, stamina, mood, and just an overall better quality of life.

In the end I simply believe that weight loss is a right and NOT a privellage. Outside of my gym - I will pay no one for that right. :)

Fitness Minutes: 330

My Goals:
- Fit in a size 6 jeans again

- Run a 5k

- Master the art of "Clean Eating"

- Work towards being a Flexitarian.

- Support others on their journeys - afterall, we're all in this together.

- Discover myself once again.

- Improve my self esteem

My Program:
I am a "Clean Eater". What this means is that I eat whole, organic, unprocessed foods.

- We do NOT believe in "Fat Free" or "Low Fat" foods, only whole fat.

- I sub sugar with honey or maple syrup.

- I cook with Organic Coconut, Avocado, and First Press/Cold Press Olive Oil. -Vegetable, Corn, & Canola Oils are banned in our house :)

- Organic grass fed butter is a major staple in our house. - I don't fear it, I embrace it! :p (and I still lose weight!)

- And we eat A LOT of veggies, fruits - and well... whole food!
