Hey, my name is Erin and I am a freshman at a college in upstate NY. I have been struggling with my weight since I was about 8 years old. At my heaviest I was 260 pounds (almost 4 years ago). Right now I know how I can lose the weight, but find it difficult to keep on a regular schedule. Being in college it is hard for me to control the things that I can eat because the only choices that I have are either fast food or mass produced dining hall food.

I will be turning 19 in April and I hope to lose 20 pounds by then. My main goal is to lose my goal weight and maybe even more so that I can feel good during the summer and feel more confident with my appearance when I go back to school in the fall.

My Goals:
My goal is lose my excess weight, keep it off, and finally feel good about my body.

My Program:
I attend a small college in upstate NY that has a pretty decent workout facility. I try to use the elliptical, treadmill, and other machines at least 5 days a week. There is also a pool that I have been swimming at regularly.

Personal Information:
I am from the capital region of Michigan, though I was born and raised on the east coast. I am currently in upstate New York completing my first year of college.

I am 18 (April 1990).
I have one older sister. She and both of my parents also struggle with their weight.

Other Information:
I absolutely love music and I really mean it when I say that I like any kind of music. I like to be active by playing sports, but I don't like people watching when I do so. When I was little I was a state champ in swimming and I still have a deep passion for that sport. Recently I have started snowboarding. I am not very good at it, but it is something that I really enjoy.

I love to read and just hang with my friends. Im not exactly easy to read. I don't usually let people very close to me, but I have been trying. Im sarcastic and witty. My friends tell me I'm funny, but I guess that is because I just say whatever thought pops into my mind.
