I started my weight loss journey at 188 lbs. That was the same weight I weighed when I was full term pregnant. That was my wake-up that I needed to loss weight. From that point, I worked gradually with a lot of ups and downs. Before I started losing weight, I had decided that if I every lost enough that I could meet the army standards I would join the National Guard. In July I weighed around 160 lbs and I realized I was close to that goal and was sworn in on July 31, 2009. From Oct 12, 2009 - Mar 5, 2010 I was in basic training and then advance training for the military. During that time I lost another 13 pounds (I weighed 147). I also went from a size 10 to a size 6. I'm still working to hit my goal weight of 130 lbs. I am glad to be back with my family and am glad to be back with sparkpeople!

7/5/09 - 163 - PIZZA
7/26/09 -158 - Outback Steakhouse
(hit during basic training) 153 - Pedicure
(hit during basic training)148 - Melting Pot

130 - Vacation, somewhere with a beach to show off!

My Program:
I'm trying to stick to the SP meal plans and completing the goals daily.

Personal Information:
The most important thing to me is my faith. I see people in my church, that I look at them and see Jesus. I want to be like that! We are called to be Christians which means to be "little Christs"!
