Well, my Spark Page suits me pretty well in much the same format now as it was when I first set it up. Don't know if that's because I'm too lazy to change it or I just like it like it is?

Many of the last pictures in the photo gallery are shots from our weekly "assignment" in the Shutterbugs Group, if they don't seem to make any sense, you'll probably have to go there and scroll back to get the context. (I kinda' think it's too long ago for scrolling back.)

Fitness Minutes: 69,333

My Goals:
Lose weight! Specifically, seventy pounds and look better than I did at forty when I'm seventy-five. Lower blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar.

A little addendum on 1/14/07:

The above was posted after I joined January 14, 2006 and here it is a year later. My resting pulse is around 58 (was 75), BP is now 105/65 (was 170/90) and I'm down well over eighty pounds. All the problems aren't yet solved, but many sure are out of the way, thanks to sticking with the Spark People plan. So yes, it works!

Now it's nearly thirteen years later and I've gained and lost a few times, but never as bad as in the beginning. I get knocked down... but I get up again! Here at the beginning of 2019, I'm holding at over eighty pounds down from my original weight with many of my health problems behind me. Maintain, maintain, maintain!

My Program:
Watching calories and avoiding all forms of bad carbs. Exercising and being more active in general. Meditation.

3/17 Update: The only thing that has changed is that now the books are electronic and I have over 2000 hardbacks and other books that get little attention.
