Hello, my name is Nicci, and I'm a recovering food-aholic. I always denied being an emotional eater until this last year, I was paying attention to what I was eating, and when. And what I have always denied became true. Also I have gone up and down in weight.

Hello, my name is Nicci, and I'm a recovering food-aholic. I always denied being an emotional eater until this last year, I was paying attention to what I was eating, and when. And what I have always denied became true. Also I have gone up and down in weight.

Last year I got divorced. My relationship wasn't healthy. This year I've seen the world thru my own eyes, and gained the self esteem I was lacking. I love me, I love the beautiful person that I am, I just know I can be better, better to myself.

This year I've also learned that I'm not fat, I'm just carrying extra weight on my body, yuck.

    I hate the humidity as well, but since I grew up in PA, I am used to it. One of the things I loved about living in CA was that there wasn't humidity. It was wonderful to not feel like I needed to shower five times a day because of feeling nasty from the sticky humidity!

    Didn't do as much walking as I wanted to, but I did get out everyday, which may or may not have been the best idea with the horrible heat and humidity! I have a better tan now though. LOL! How was your holiday weekend?

    I am good. Getting ready to head to Ocean City for the weekend. The zoo was good besides waiting an hour for friends of my husband to show up. I did get some color too! LOL! It was like 90 degrees and humid....WHEW!
