Lets Go! Lets Go! L-E-T-S G-O! Yeah, I guess you can tell I was a cheerleader for 8 years and a coach for 4, huh? Anyway, those days are long over and I've moved on to more important things. My name is Holly and I am 24 years old. Since graduating high school, I have struggled with my weight. I graduated weighing 110 pounds! I know, it disgusts me! I quickly rose to 130 pounds by my sophomore year of college. I was motivated enough to lose it and get back down to 115, where I struggled to stay at. Four years later, I am married and, I guess you could say comfortable in my life, because I have reached my highest weight, 142 pounds! So I am here to keep me motivated to lose this weight and get down to 125. I know I can do this because I have lost weight before! I want to get control now before my weight gets too out of hand! Oh...and my brother is getting married in April...so it would be nice to lose weight for the wedding also!

So I took a break for a week or so and decided to join Weight Watchers as another reinforcer. Hopefully this pushes me with a more strict weigh in and meeting to accompany it!


Nutritional Goals:
1.) Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day.
2.) Eat at least 4 fruits and veggies each day.
3.) Stay within my suggested food ranges:
1200-1550 daily calories
163-236 carbohydrates
32-56 grams of fat
60-127 proteins
4.) Use my head when it comes to portions. Just because my pregnant friend takes two pieces of fried chicken does not mean I have to. I am NOT pregnant. Do not eat like I am!
5.) Stick to my points scale for Weight Watchers.

Workout Plan:
1.) Strength Training- 3 days a week
2.) Cardio at least 5 days a week, this includes a 1 mile run each day
3.) Pilates 5-7 days a week
4.) Tennis at least 1 time a week for at least 60 minutes

Mini Goals and Rewards:
146 -- Starting Weight
139 -- Manicure
135 -- Massage
130 -- New school clothes
125 Goal Weight -- Party with my name written all over it!
Maintain weight (Every 3 months) -- New Outfit!

Personal Information:
I am from a small town in Indiana, and a second grade teacher! Since school is out, I have found it a million times easier to exercise and I am the most motivated that I have ever been about losing weight! I am really excited! I have been married just over a year and love it! There will be no kids for quite some time, but we do have a wonderful cat named Madonna! I love to listen to music, mostly alternative rock, read, play tennis, and relax in the sun!

    hey you... its been awhile. thought i would stop by and say hi. how is your lifestyle change going? looks like we are still making about the same amount of progress which means that i am not the only one that has fallen off course of strayed and got back on. its just frustrating sometimes. I remember when i didn't have to work this hard to look good. or may i was working this hard i was just not aware it was work. I have been doing the 30Day shred this month. hopefully it will help... my working out is not off track as much as my eating can be. i hope you are having a easier time getting your body back.

    hello! i have been good. still working on this weightloss journey. i thought i would be at my goal by now but the pounds are slowly going away. I am glad to see your still at it too. i am hoping to break into the 120's by the end of this month. good luck to you too. we will get there.
