Introduction Text Today is a new start..... I have joined a newly organized TOPS group here in AZ. I have recently fallen and broken my left wrist. I am still working(sort of due to injury) for a while longer. I need to take control of my snacking. I have now had an unscheduled hip revision, so I have been unable to work or workout for nearly 2 months more....not a good year.

Short term: Lose 75 pounds Long term: Become more active to be able to enjoy life more. Future goal: Take on further weight loss in small, manageable increments.

Tracking my foods and activities. Go water walking as much as possible. Get orientated to the weight machines at the fitness center so I can work on weights as well as cardio. Get back to going to water aerobics once I am medically able.

I am originally from North Dakota and formerly lived in Northern Minnesota. We transplanted to Arizona in 2014, where we are enjoying our freedom from snow and bitterly cold weather. I am a Medical Technologist and work in a hospital lab in Mesa. Currently I am working a day shift. I love to sing and really enjoy reading.

I am addicted to NCIS and love watching marathons on weekends. When I am not on SparkPeople, I haunt Facebook.
