Update 2/8/19 Learning about SMART goals and tweaking my own goals to make them achievable has really helped! I'm accomplishing things I never thought I'd be able to and my therapist finally is telling me she wants to see me once a month (after 35 years of weekly or biweekly sessions). I'm so proud and thankful!

Update: 1-21-19 I WAS treated for HCV a couple of years ago, even with the weight I had I think it's made a huge difference

Update 1-15-19, I've lost 50 lbs and now I'm working on new goals to be healthier and have less pain.

I have lots of physical problems that cause weight gain and prevent exercise. I MUST lose 100 lbs in order to be treated for Hepatitis C. I need to have accountability and support in order to do this. I hope to find it here.

Fitness Minutes: 7,739

My Goals:
I'd ideally like to get to 130 lbs, that's about 62 lbs from here, but I'd be happy at 150. Trying to incorporate 10 min. of exercise or activity each day except one, and learning to set achievable goals.


My Program:
Logging food and activity, even from a wheelchair, and learning Trim Healthy Mama. I've cut out sugar, all the whites, and learned to read labels even better. When I've achieved my exercise goal, I'm buying myself a 5 point present!



Personal Information:
I bought a recumbent trike last year and hope to use it to bike on paved paths this year. I keep my 4 yr old great nephew a couple of days a week, which I love. We're farmers, gardeners, food preppers, readers and generally love our life.

My heart reaches out to you in your situation and I know how hard it is to lose weight in this matter! Seems I work like crazy to lose anything and often the scale won't budge! I keep going anyway, cos if I didn't, I would be stiff as a board and the pain would increase … (plus the rest of the body needs the exercise too) …I want you to know your kind words mean a lot to me--and hope it is ok to add you for a friend. .. emoticon ..     Thank you for the comment on my blog, and for celebrating with me. Congratulations on your weight loss (I read your page) - you are doing your best facing challenges yourself, that is awesome and I look up to you! I lost 35 lbs once doing high-impact exercise and let me tell you, it was hard. Doing so with little to no exercise seems almost impossible, but reading your story has made me realize it's just a limit I set upon myself. I wish you all the best and may your efforts be rewarded in the best way possible!
