    I am so sorry that you are having a bad day. Remember that you are a beautiful person who deserves to be taken care of. Do something to lift your spirits today. Take a walk, go window shopping, get a pedicure, go talk to a friend.....you get the picture. Remember, we are not what we feel. We may feel low but that doesn't make us low. We are each special and were put on this earth for a reason. Hang in there. You will do this!! emoticon

    I saw your post about wanting to lose faster---don't we all! I lose very slowly but have gone the fast route and it never lasts. I am noticing other differences and am trying to pay more attention to those than I have in the past and to give myself credit for things other than weight loss! Don't forget that the scale doesn't always tell the whole story. Have you measured yourself lately or have you seen a change in your energy level or mood? Or have you developed better eating or exercise habits? If so, applaud yourself for those things too!! I have found that the Spark idea of identifying and awarding those "little" goals really helps me. Hang in there...you are losing and it will happen one step at a time! And, in the meantime, celebrate all the good things you have done and not just what the scale says! After all, you really are doing great!!!

    Congrats on your weight loss this week! I don't know about you but I'm feeling very positive about this Spark thing. I read some of the book yesterday and it was very inspiring. I especially like that I don't need to beat myself up if I'm not "perfect" with the plan because the plan is small changes at my own pace. Previously I was an all or nothing kind of person. This is such a learning process. I am so proud of both of us for making it through our first week and am looking forward to see what next week brings. Stay in touch!! emoticon
