    Welcome to Spark. I have been on here about 6 weeks and I know my way around pretty well so if you have any questions - please ask. My first suggestion is to set up your sparkpage which you have done. Second go to the Sparkpoints page. Sparkpoints are points you get for doing things like recording your food intake and your fitness. Also you get points for social and educational things. You can then use your points to buy goodies for other for motivation and support - it is fun.

    So four main parts of spark in my mind. Nutrition - It is amazing how much info you get from tracking and making small changes. I read one blog today written by a woman who said she used to eat McDonalds for breakfast and nothing else until dinner. Then she was so hungry she ate all junk food. Now she is eating a good breakfast at home and packing a snack and lunch for work - and she eats a better dinner at home and doesn't get ravenous for bad food. Small changes.

    In the fitness there are a lot of exercises that they suggest for starting out small and working your way up - especially one for someone who was injured - start small and don't give up.

    Education - good articles that are very informative and helpful plus you get points for reading them.

    Social - join teams or start commenting on blogs. Build up friends and on your spark start page you see a friend feed. As you build friends you can start to comment on their activities or see people that they are friends with. This is a great motivational and support system.

    Keep with it - start small so you don't get frustrated. Look for a memger ljcannon - she is a friend on my page - read her story.
