Thanks for your note, Barb! And so quickly! I'm actually anxious to talk to my psychologist about all of this! I think it will allow me to dig into the reasons behind it all and heal. I just want to be healthy---I'm not asking to be a size 8 again! I want to feel good in my own skin, and learn to love it!

Oh you sound so much like me...I joined and quit WW at least 5 times and finally was done last year because it just seemed to center on food, food, food and not the real issues of why that food affects you and your emotions. Sp is so much better because there is just so much info on this site that really answers the hard questions I've had...of course, it is all up to me in the end. I,too, had an eating disorder as a teen. I would stay here to battle your eating issues. emoticon Barb

I'm NOT doing...basically. I've been having some health issues that have kept me from much exercise and my eating is all over the place...I think I've made a MAJOR decision...first I want to pass it by my psychologist. I'm thinking of totally quitting the Weight Watchers thing, employment and all. For me, it's SO food centered that it seems to make me obsess about what the next thing I put in my mouth will be! My psychologist suggested that if I just listened to my body, it's needs, that I would lose weight without any specific "program". And I think he may be right. Sometimes, I eat when I'm not hungry simply because I'm suppose to! How dumb is that?! He thinks I do have a bit of an eating disorder...starting a very young age.
I do plan to stay at this site for support. Any opinions out there?

Just checking in with a show of support!

Keep us informed on how you're doing. It always helps me when peolpe chime in on how I'm feeling regardless if they're feeling the same or giving me encouragment.
