"Start your day with PURPOSE" - Hitch (God's Purpose!)
His mercies are new every morning!

This is the day that the Lord has made and I shall rejoice and be glad in it! One of my passion's is writing. I blog at http://watcherswife.blogspot.com and http://pearlzfromshelz.blogspot.com.

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's". 1 Corinthians 6:19, 20 KJV

If I am to give all the glory to God, then I need to acknowledge Him in my body, His temple-however temporary-as well. So, here I go seeking Him in route to better health and wellbeing!

New: I originally started years ago, and while earnest, failed miserably. I never conceived I'd weigh more than 200 lbs, and achieved over 220. I gathered up the pieces of me and refocused in 2018. Today I weigh less than 175; I've seen 169. I eat much better and less. I've walked nearly million miles with the city I live in, I do pilates, and aqua aerobics; and when I can I incorporate the gym and swimming. I'm now using my FitBit watch; apps: along with SparkPeople, MyFitness, Google and Samsung Health; programs: my city and my senior community center and recently my place of employment.
As a reward, I am now loving life retired and now fitting clothes not stretched out and truly over 16W, but leaving 14.
140/150 is my goal. Look for me much more in that direction in 2020. For the rest of 2019 I may enter the 160s, but the plan is to maintain through the holidays.


The rest of the ORIGINAL (I like to see where I was): Into Wii Fitness, using AESActive and other fitness, sports, dance, and other recreational activities. Also walk, stationary bike and use in-home gym. Pasttimes: ministry, writing, photography, travel, movies, family & friends.

The husband and I are both walking this road and look forward to mutual and exclusive blessings. Your prayers and encouragement are gratefully appreciated. May the Lord be with you as you seek Him as well.

Fitness Minutes: 53,719

My Goals:
Goal 175 pounds to start, healthier living. Goal around 160 to finish.

To be instant in season and out of season.

as in Hebrews 12:1-3 lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and run with PATIENCE the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith... lest I be wearied and faint in mind.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory 2 Co 4:12

For He said to me - 'Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matt 11:28-30


My Program:
I am watching what I eat, beginning an exercise program on a home gym, and slowly improving my habits. To work with myself, the husband, and my accountability partner on where I am at and how I am doing getting there. Considering with my AP beginning a First Place program.



Personal Information:
Our life is in California, in ministry for the Lord. My life is riddled with mistakes, but a loving God saved me. I like to write, to travel, people, to be with my family, to touch a life or two. I like to think, to read, to watch movies new and old, to laugh, to love.

I have a blended family - 8 children; 5 grown (3 in the house), 2 with mom, and youngest.


Other Information:
God sees us as He is making us; why don't we. From Sleepless in Seattle - I'm just going to get up every morning .... The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies are new EVERY morning!

    alrighty then. I haven't posted food tracking since last week and compounded I was using a different tool 'MapMyFitness' because I had joined a challenge and was tracking using it. SparkPeople tracking is better - coming home ;-).
