One thing that bothers me about dieting is that people have reduced "good" eating to calories, carbs, and fat. I'd like to remind everyone that a calorie is a unit of energy and we need energy to survive. When I realized this, my whole outlook on food changed. Food is not the enemy. Our mind is. Truly good nutrition is colored with multiple layers of complexity from vitamins to vital enzymes, not just carbs and fat. The key thing to remember is that food is energy. And it is my philosophy that if you put "good energy" in you will receive good outcomes in return.

My Goals:
I've always accepted that I'll have the "baby pouch," the little blub of fat on my lower tummy. But I think the "baby pouch" is a little too... adolescent. I'm tall so a pound here and a pound there doesn't do much but now, at almost 160 lbs I think its time to get back down to 150 lbs.

My Program:
I'm a college student studying engineering... sometimes eating/eating right/being healthy is not a top priority in my line of studying. It's time to change! I love being outdoors. I used to talk walks ever day. I used to bike everywhere. I used to take hikes with my family. It's time to go back to that!

8) If I weren't studying chemical engineering, I would want to be an architect.
9) I love Thai food. A lot.
