Let me introduce myself... perhaps give you a little insight into who I really am... and why I'm here... A few facts...My name is Lynne... I live in Kingsport, TN... I'm 59 going on 30... I'm single and unattached with the exception of my 2 teens... ages 17 & 19 who truly keep me young. Like most of you.. I have tried just about every diet out there over the years... only to lose it... and then gain it back again... plus some! After some much long overdue soul searching... I'm finally ready & 100% commited to getting this extra baggage off... and keeping it off for good! ... For me It's about being as healthy as I can be at this point in my life... I'm determined to be at a healthy weight by this time next year... If I'm lucky it will be in time for my birthday in May. Now that you know a little about me... I'll move on to why I'm here... I have always had a difficult time reaching out for help...( probably my fear of rejection ) However... I've come to realize that I can't do this alone! ... I need Your Help!! ... in fact I NEED ALL the HELP I can get !!! ....I know much of the weight I have gained over the years was the result of my feeling lonely... due to circumstances...not by choice... Now I'm choosing to NOT be lonely anymore! Regardless of circumstances.. .(most of which have changed thankfully) This is where you ...my future Sparks Buddies come in..... I Thank God for the internet and a place like Sparks! ... I am looking forward to making new friends here... almost as much as I'm looking forward to being a lot lighter on my feet by this time next year. I'ts really awesome not to have to travel this road alone anymore... Sparks has me feeling very Excited & Motivated about this journey we are all on TOGETHER! Since I'm just beginning.... I plan to take it one day at a time... and keep it simple. I am trying to focus on the journey not just the pounds lost . I will basically follow the ADA guidelines for my meal planing as I am diabetic..I'm also starting out with gentle yoga exercises as I am out of shape and need to limber up a bit before doing anything to difficult.

I am a native Californian who moved to Beautiful East Tennessee in 1996. I have been disabled for the past several years due to Fibromyalgia and deginerative discs.

I enjoy meeting new people, learning new things, spending time with my family & friends, weekend getaways, music, boating, swimming, movies, reading, computers, dancing, bingo, theater, roller coasters, and long drives to nowhere in particular.
