Introduction Text Everybody loves a story, and here is mine. As a teen I was always very active; swim team, track and field, field hockey, etc. I was skinny, almost sickly looking. However, like most the day I turned 18 I felt my metabolism slow down. For years I didn't really care, I still felt decent about myself and knew I was eating right, or so I thought. I reached my highest weight ever this summer. After years of beating myself up because of the way I look and allowing others to put me down, I have am taking the high road. I am going to treat myself with more respect. I am going to love myself. I am not going to allow others to put me down. Loves: The feeling right after exercising, like you can do almost anything. The way my legs look when they are toned. Fat Free cottage cheese with peaches. Grilled chicken dizzled with lemon juice and freshly cracked pepper over brown rice with lemon zest. Swimming. Playing ball with my dogs. Going to the park with my fiance with our dogs. Buying new work out clothes. Reading. Writing. Lazy days. Biking. Dislikes: Diet sodas (used to love them read some interesting stuff about aspartame). Heavy foods. The feeling of indulging too much. My stomach (at the moment). Gatorade. Heat. Broken promises.

- Eat healthier by consuming mostly vegetarian meals. - Reduce caffeine and sugar in take. - Live a healthy lifestyle - Run/walk 5x a week. - Get outside for hikes and bikes as much as possible

- Training on the couch to 5k program. - Runner's World 10k prep. - Strength Training

I grew up in Hockessin, Delaware. Moved to Texas and just moved back. 2 wonderful dogs
