My name is Ashley and I'm 25 years old. I work in the financial industry in Chicago, Illinois. I have the sweetest pugs named Apollo and Johnny who keep my fiance and I very active! I joined Sparkpeople back in 2008 and lost some weight but then got sucked back into an unhealthy college lifestyle. Now I'm back to learn healthy life habits.

My approach is to make small little changes, slowly and one-at-a-time so I don't falter. So I give myself weekly, monthly and yearly goals. Everytime I complete one I end up gaining more momentum so then I build more goals on top of one another. This has really been working for me so far.

Long-term Goals:
- Be in 130 lbs range by my birthday (August 4th)
- Move out of the overweight BMI range to the 'healthy' range (DONE! 03/24/2011)

- 145 lbs: hair cut (Done! 04/05/2011)
- 142 lbs: Body Oil (Done! 07/01/12)
- 140 lbs: a massage (Done! 08/01/12)
- 137 lbs: a facial (Done! 11/29/12)
- 135 lbs: a Diane Von Furstenburg wrap dress (Done! 01/15/13)
- 132 lbs: new workout clothes (hot pink anyone?)
- 130 lbs: a new bikini and bikini wax

Pant Sizes:
- Size 8 jeans: heart rate monitor (Done! 02/25/2011)
- Size 6 jeans: new jeans (Done! 01/15/12)
- Size 4 jeans: new boots (Done! 02/01/13)

My Goals:
Reduce "bad" carb consumption and increase core strength and flexibility. If I lose weight then that is a plus.

My Program:
Between 1200-1600 calories a day. At least 60g of protein a day.

Strength Training at least 10 minutes everyday.

Full pilates workout on my AeroPilates machine (four times a week).

Salsa Dancing Class (one time a week, plus extra practice whenever I'm feeling the rythmn).

Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred (three times a week).

Hot Core Yoga (at least twice a week).

Personal Information:
I'm 5'4".

Currently a size 4/6 in clothing.
