You are probably wondering what munter mormor means. It is Swedish for jolly grandmother. I enjoy finding humor in most situations. Life is too short for it not to be fun.

God & family are the most important aspects of my life. After that comes my Swedish heritage, genealogy, traveling, painting, photography, reading, knitting & digital scrapbooking. I'm a big (no pun intended) Disney World fan. I also enjoy the beauty of nature and hiking if I'm able.

My Program:
I'm weighing, measuring & tracking what I eat. Planning is important too. I also check the glycemic values - always looking for foods that have a low impact.

Personal Information:
I have been eating healthier since the end of Nov. 2007 & had lost 25 lb before I joined Spark People.

emoticon on losing some of that Christmas weight! It's so hard to take it off and so easy to put it on!!

Just checked Southwest and Airtran and you can fly nonstop from Chicago to Orlando for $81 each person one way, so that'd be around $162 each round trip, (don't know if the fees were included). We're closer, so I assume that's why we can fly cheaper. I didn't know what dates to look at, so I just looked at March 11-18. Disney is still having the Buy 4 nights Get 3 free, with tickets included for all 7 days. Kenny and I paid $106 extra to have the No Expiration Date on our tickets, because we know we won't use all those days. Guess what else we're doing? For the first time we've purchased one of the dining plans. We're doing the one where you get one sit-down meal, one counter service and a snack each day. I'm glad you introduced us to the Trail's End Buffet, 'cause we're going to take my mom there.

You can actually do this promotion until at least May or June, but if you go before March 31st, they give you a $200 gift card to use during your stay, which of course appealed to me!

I can't believe we're going back so soon either. My mom said it's on her "Bucket List" and she's 76, so I want her to be able to go while she can still get around.

It really doesn't matter that we just went, I'm just as excited!!

What are you going to do to stay warm these next few days?? We're suppose to get down to the teens, but your weather looks CRAZY COLD!!!

Whatever it is, you'll probably burn some extra calories doing it!

Stopping in to see if that ticker has moved down any. emoticon
AND THAT'S NOT ALL! Guess who's going back to Disney on March 11th???? You guessed it, MEEEEE!!
Disney is having that special where you buy 4 days and get 3 free. On top of that, the airlines are having these $50 one way promotions, we just couldn't pass up! Did I mention it's not snowing in Florida?? Actually, it's not snowing here either, but it's incredibly cold!
I CAN'T WAIT TO GO and wanted to come over and share the news. We're taking my mom and her husband (not my dad) and they've never been before, should be tons of fun.

So, what have you been doing to make it through these snowy weeks, aside from babysitting? I get cabin fever terribly, so I'm glad we don't have snow.
Hope you both are well! Jot me a note. emoticon

    Hiiiiiii Sandy!!

So good to hear from you. Kenny and I went away the week after Christmas. I must've eaten a million cookies. No restraint Sandy, no restraint at all! I deserve every pound I gain. I'm weighing in Wednesday and it won't be pretty!

I'm back on track now though and determined not to let the last week of pigging out side-track me onto the path to Fatville again.

Kenny and I were on the computer last night looking at Disney stuff. The cold weather gives us the vacation bug, know what I mean?

Next year you CAN be at 150. Who knows, I might even make it there by then too! I sure hope so!!!!!!
Narrow down your teams and be active on those you get the most motivation from.
