I have the munchies!!


I eat when I'm bored, I eat when I'm stressed, I eat as a reward . . . I love food too much!! To make things worse, I love activities that involve SITTING: reading, computer games, TV - all bad !!! Time to get off my duff - my job involves sitting for 8 to 10 hrs per day, so it's no wonder I ended up like this!!

My Goals:
I love horseback riding and I love riding the Royal Star with my husband. . . right now I'm too heavy to comfortably do either. I need to lose 50 lbs and get more fit overall.

My Program:
 I am moving more each day (I work in front of a computer all day). I am eating healthier - more fruits & veggies, and MORE WATER.


Personal Information:
My husband introduced me to Spark People and so far I'm really enjoying the site. I think it will help me stay on track.

Other Information:
 Back in the 80's I watched Buck Rogers (always been a SciFi nut) and Erin Gray became my motivation & inspiration for staying as slim as possible. I didn't get heavy until the mid-90's . . . but when I did, boy did I go all out!!

    No big deal on the SparkStreak. It has happened before and will again one day. Looking forward to getting back home. The bike is packed and ready to go by 0500 am in the morning. Have had a great visit with Ray and Kathy. Still not sure where I will turn-around and start back. I will play it by ear with the number of close calls with other bikes. emoticon

    Getting ready for the RFTW in the morning. I have my alarm set for 4:00 am. Hoping the freeways will be clear since I have 35+ miles to get to the staging area in Ranch Cucamonga.
    Have had a good time with Ray and Kathy. Have not visited with anyone else because of little desire. We are heading for some fish tonight. Still watching my calories as I sit here eating a sandwich with cheese and salami.

    Margaret, I was the same way and then when I was talking to my sister Mary she mention the cross contact vs cross contamination. I have to train myself too.
    BTW I did a blog on the last eye dr appt. I had. I am sorry that I did not call. I have been going non-stop as I just got back from seeing my sister in Michigan - got back the 19th of July and as you can see in my blog it says that I went to the surgeon on the 21st of July. I will chat with you later.
