On my journey to a healthier lifestyle!
I've used SparkPeople in the past to help me lose 25+ pounds. That was 3 years ago. I can still taste the feeling of success and remember how I truly felt like I was glowing both on the outside AND the inside. That was then...this is now...

I am an emotional binge eater. It seems to go in phases. I'll get on a healthy eating/work out phase and be all about nutrition and healthy eating. Then something changes. I get lazy, I get lax, I tell myself I don't care. And surprise! The weight sneaks back on. I am at my heaviest I've been in a VERY long time. I am 5'2" and weigh 153 pounds. Sometimes I feel like I am a food addict. Every time I finish stuffing my face with my latest craving I feel ashamed, gross and fat. And I always promise myself, "Tomorrow we are turning this around!" And guess what? Tomorrow comes and the same vicious cycle repeats itself.

I've had enough. I need to reclaim control over my body, my eating, my emotional health and my physical health. And I know with SparkPeople I CAN DO IT!!

I am 27 years old and a single mother of the most amazing 9 year old son I could ever ask for! Working out and running became a passion of mine about 3 years ago. I've ran 4 half marathons.

After my last half marathon I got burned out by running and completely fell off the horse. For like 6 long, painful, weight gaining months.

Well I'm BACK!!:) And feeling better than ever on this journey of a healthy lifestyle. I love reading everyone's blogs, comments and inspirational stories to help me always remember: WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! Spark on:)
