When I was younger, I was always called skinny, slim, boney and thin-just to name a few. When I was pregnant with my first child, I had gotten up to 120 lbs. I weighed 99 lbs. after he was born. when I had my daughter eight yrs later, I got up to 165 lbs. I weighed 125 afterwards.

I joined the navy at 27 yrs old when my daughter was 1 y.o. and I weighed 120 lbs after bootcamp. Needless to say, at almost 34 y.o.-I have gained almost 50 lbs in about 7 years.

Heres my problem: I've never believed I'd ever be overweight-so I always ate what I wanted, when I wanted. I was never the "atheletic type". So now, I'm struggling with working out and eating habits. I'm tired of looking pregnant and I almost considered buying maternity clothes (most of my weight has deposited around my midsection), because regular clothes make me look ridiculously fat. I'm determined and ready to take control of my life, body as well as health. I need all the support I can get, because this is very difficult for me.

Once I reach my goal weight, I'll set another goal for myself. I will ultimately be 140 lbs!!! Thats my story and I'm sticking to it!

My Goals:
I would like to be able to look down and see my feet. I want to have more energy and exercise on a regular basis. Be able to run without stopping and tiring so easily. I want to like what I see (physically), when I look in the mirror. I want to promote a healthier lifestyle for my kids to learn as well-hope its not too late for my son-he's 16 y.o.!


My Program:
I'm going to:
eat healthier, work out,
drink adequate amounts of water, and watch my portion sizes.
I'm going to allow myself a "treat" at least once a week.
