Hey, I noticed we are right about at the same place in our goals. Started out at the same spot at least if your ticker is correct. :)

You are most welcome! Thank you! I am fearful for the first time in my almost 50 years for our Nation. We've never been more divisive, angry or disillusioned. I have nothing against getting help when help is needed. And if it comes in the form of government handouts, well, thank goodness they are there. However, that being said, I am very much against the entitlements as they are administered right now. I agree wholeheartedly that there needs to be a more cautious approach to handing out the dole. Drug testing is something I agree with as is perhaps partaking in a program designed to help people improve their situation. Although how that can happen in today's job and economic climate remains a mystery to me. I have to admit I did feel a little satisfied when I heard the Speaker of the House proposing tax increases, spending cuts, closing loopholes in tax codes, entitlement reform and insisting that this is something that has to be done. And done quickly! Of course, he was echoing the words that Romney was so vilified for. Wonder how all those who wanted the status quo will feel when they get the dose of reality they tried to deny.

Don't let that idiot on facebook get to you. Chances are, he's filled with fear of losing what he thinks he's owed and is eager to lash out at anyone who says anything he perceives as a threat to his goodie bag.

I love your area. My mom lived in New Port Richey. Did you change your name?

A victory garden was anywhere you could plant something to eat from seed. It helped you stay healthy during the war and the depression. Window boxes, container gardening, back yard or where ever you could plant things. Less of a strain on the farmers who lost all their help to the war etc.
