HELLO THERE! and thanks for stopping by!

My Name is Brenda. I am a born-again Christian. I am also a carb addict! I love sweets, bread, cake, pie, etc. I've been a member here for quite some time and I keep fighting in my weight loss journey. Not so sure if I'm fighting the good fight because I haven't reached my goal yet (I've come close however!) - but I WILL continue to fight - to press - to lean on the Lord. I know what to do, how to do and when to do - I just need to get to doing! Tomorrow is June 20, 2017 and I can honestly say that I have a new way of thinking! I've heard it a MILLION times and didn't quite HEAR it - it must be a LIFESTYLE CHANGE - well by God I am finally on that page.(since April 8, 2017 - the beginning of the Spring Challenge) I must say that it is working. No scale movement, but I can tell thru clothing that progress is taking place. I pray to Almighty God that this time next year I'll be close if not at my goal weight.
