I've lost weight on Weight Watchers and Sparkpeople before. After I had my son, Josh, I lost quite a bit using Sparkpeople and the Leslie Sansone WATP videos. When I got pregnant with my daughter in 2009, I had already fallen off the wagon a bit and gained back some of what I'd lost. After I had Lara Elizabeth, I lost about 30 lbs on Weight Watchers but when they changed their POINTS system last fall I stopped losing. The new program just did not work for me.

So, I kind of dropped off the weight loss radar for a while. In the mean time, I've joined the Catholic Church and will be confirmed in May of 2011. This first Lenten season has really inspired me to get back into gear so that I can be healthy for my children and stop my disordered behavior and thinking about eating and food. I'm back on Sparkpeople now and am determined to get healthy.

My Goals:
Long-term goals:

1. Reach goal weight by Christmas 2011.

Short-term goals:

1. Focus on losing 2 lbs per week.

2. Lose 20 lbs by June 2011.

3. Cut out refined sugar.

4. Exercise 6 days per week.

My Program:
I'm using Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds system and am currently rotating between the 2-, 3- and 4-mile routines every morning.

Personal Information:
Stay at home mom to Joshua and Lara Elizabeth, and wife to Tony.

I'm very devoted to my family and to my faith in Christ as a Catholic Christian.

Other Information:
My favorite things to do are playing with my children, reading, and crochet. Right now I'm reading "Jesus of Nazareth, Part One" by the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI.
