The Journey to Me
Well, I hit 40 over a year ago and although I had hoped to be 40 and fit, now I am 41 and still fat. I have exercised regularly for most of my life, so really and truly I need to focus on creating a lifestyle that promotes healthier eating. Here we go on an amazing adventure that I call life.
Well, I hit 40 over a year ago and although I had hoped to be 40 and fit, now I am 41 and still fat. I have exercised regularly for most of my life, so really and truly I need to focus on creating a lifestyle that promotes healthier eating. Here we go on an amazing adventure that I call life.

My Goals:
I truly just want to be healthier and stronger. It would be nice if along the way perhaps my buttocks didn't have its own gravitational field. I would like to start with a 20 pound weight loss goal. That seems do-able to me.
My Program:
I am thinking perhaps I should start with this site's suggestions. My plan so far really has been a lack of planning...which has gotten me to my larger than life self!
Personal Information:
I enjoy so much about life its hard to put it in a paragraph. My family, friends, sewing, gardening, kayaking, hiking, road trips, music, dogs, my chickens, decorating, cooking, photography, nature, herbology, naturopathy, earth based spirituality...I think that's a good start.
Other Information:
I have three daughters, a very supportive husband, three hens and a rooster, and a very loving yellow lab.

There ARE such beautiful state forests around our area! I "discovered" such areas a few weeks ago traveling northward with our bike club into Smithville Flats and Willet...Long Pond and surrounding areas...just GORGEOUS!
