Focus on Fitness!


I am 47, married and have three children. I work part time for UPS. I am trying to get into shape and slowly the weight is coming off. This is really hard work, sweating off the pounds is not easy, but I am determined to get into those skinny jeans!
I am 47, married and have three children. I work part time for UPS. I am trying to get into shape and slowly the weight is coming off. This is really hard work, sweating off the pounds is not easy, but I am determined to get into those skinny jeans!

Fitness Minutes: 26,150

My Goals:
I want to weigh 155 by next year in time for my 30 year class reunion.

My Program:
 I walk for one hour a day 5 times a week and count calories, fat and carbs. I have cut out sugar from my diet as much as possible.


Personal Information:
I started out at 235 lbs, the most I have ever weighed. At 47 years old I have to make a lifestyle change. More exercise, less high calorie fattning foods no sugar and less carbs. It is not easy, but I am seeing progress.

Other Information:
 I love fishing, hunting. camping, cooking, painting and knitting. I just want to be slim again so I can enjoy the things I love to do and so my husband will look at me again with some interest.

    Hi! I love this group, all of us a bunch of office workers! But you stand all day? Gosh, what a leg killer that must be! What do you do exactly? It says you work for UPS, but what requires you to mostly stand all day? I mean, I am sure it is much better than sitting.....I hate sitting all day, plus, I dont have much of a tush, so haha. ;-)

    just found you in "search" I also live in Roanoke, VA. I started with Spar actually thispassed Monday. Today I had my first weigh-in and lost 5 pounds.
    Yeah, it isn't easy to sweat off the pounds. But it is a amazing feeling when you see results, no matter how little. I can even feel it in my pants that they are just a little bit loose!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hope to hear from you, perhaps we can hook up sometime for a walk :)
