Decided it was time to update my profile after nearly five years. So I'm still plugging along. More downs than ups. My kids are now grown - S19; D20; S24 (in June). H and I are looking at being Empty Nesters. S24 lives at home but it's really a place to lay his head and have an occasional meal since he is working full time, has a girlfriend and a very active life. The younger to have finished the Freshman and Sophomore years at school and are only home on breaks or for D20 the occasional long weekend.

H and I are beginning to travel more and enjoyed a wonderful two week trip to Portugal with lots of walking and activity. We enjoy golf and skiing with or without the rest of the family.

I know consistency and moderation are the key to being healthy and these are the habits I am continuing to work on.

Daily: Stay within calorie range and get right amount of fat, carbs and protein; Get at least 10 minutes of cardio in each day and strength training at least 3 days/week; get 6-8 hours of sleep/night;

My Program:
Follow Spark guidelines for calorie/fat/protein intake; For winter use Wii Fit Plus; Wii Active and Active more workouts; Cardio and strength training DVD's Skiing; and treadmill or elliptical at work or gym. In better weather add outdoor activities.
