    good afternoon .. I know it may be none of my business, but I saw a comment you made on an article for "alternative methods for handling IBS" .. I have the same problems .. maybe or maybe not to your extent, however, it may be something to talk to your doctor about .. When I have a high fiber meal, or snack, I take a Digestive Enzyme, which helps the food move through my track easier, without building up gas .. and bloat and discomfort ..

    My doctor also told me to "eat slowly, and chew with intent" .. in other words chew my foods well .. I have tried that, and it does work, but sometimes .. well -- life just gets in the way ..

    However with digestive enzymes that I take with higher fiber foods, it's decreased the discomfort quite a bit .. Maybe something for you to look into ..
