I look at this person looking back at me in the mirror and I ask her, "Where did you come from?" After marrying my high school sweet heart at the age of 20, I had 4 children and then spent the majority of my energy/life raising them. In the past 3 years we have added two wonderful son-in-laws, gorgeous grandson with two more buns in the oven (one girl, Ryleight Marie and one boy, Nathan Lucas). Prior to my second daughter’s wedding I started to work out by walking/running on the treadmill. I managed to lose 28 lbs. by May of 2010. Unfortunately, I put 8 of that back on last year. With the assistance of SP I have succeeded to lose 15 more lbs. Spark people gave me control and support that I desperately needed at this point in my journey. I want to feel healthy and when I look in the mirror I want to feel good about the person that is looking back at me! This is not a diet it is me making better choices to be healthier. The glass is half full and each day is a new chance.

Lower my calories and workout three times a week!

My Program:
I log, log and log. That is what makes me aware and gives me control.

Personal Information:
I am a woman that wears many hats... I'm a wife, , mother, paraprofessional, cosmetologist, cook, house keeper, mother inlaw and grandmother. I live in upstate NY. After a year of trying to eat better and adding exercise to my week, I was introduced to SP (the first week of Oct 2011). This tool has really helped me to be aware of just how important being healthier is to me. It's a daily struggle against myself but I can do this. Not over night and not even in one year but at my own individual pace. I wish I had done something like this years ago!

Other Information:
The passion of my life has been my family! I am so proud of them all. Life is a work in progress and everyday brings with it a new beginning. Thank God for beginnings!

Are you interested in a Challenge?

The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Spring challenge. To get to the Challenge go to my page and click on the Blue Biggest Loser Icon, copy and paste the link below, or let me know and I can send you an invite. Join the Team then sign up on the waitlist. It’s the thread right below the Frosted Fitness Fun Chit Thread.

I have not been on in months. I lost the 40 then gained 20 back. Logging every day got put on the back burner to babysitting and working out set aside. I would love to loose the 20 this year. I know that it was more than 20 as I was so tone back then. My daughter just had lap band surgery and that is so unnatural and drastic. I want to be healthy.
