In January of 2012, I decided to embrace the Paleo diet (with some modifications) in hopes of helping my migraines and other chronic issues. I wish I could say that the migraines were completely gone, but they have improved a great deal. In addition, I've been able to lose 43 pounds. While I don't agree with the Paleo diet entirely, I have tweaked it to work for me and I tend to eat food the way it should be eaten. Years of trying this and that have never done what this program has done for me.

In June of this past year, I had a rather unfortunate accident, which stalled out my weight loss and left me with an injury that may require surgery. It's only been since Christmas that my weight loss journey was finally able to continue down the path and I'm optimistic about the healing process that I have yet to go through. It's truly been a faith journey as I see how the Lord has been working through it to make me a stronger person. Hopefully though it all I'll be able to encourage others.
