Here I am with Sparkpeople after finding the end of my rope and a reality check from the doctor! I am a college student with 3 children who love me very much and need me to be there for them for a long time. I lost my mom too young and don't want this to happen to them if I can help it!

My Goals:
The short term goal is to be comfortable at school, the desks are a tight fit for me and that is making the goal to finish school hard. My best friend is getting married soon and I want to feel comfortable in my skin at her wedding. My hubby is planning a trip to England for the family and obviously I want to be comfortable on the flight and while sightseeing. And most importantly I want to set a better example for my children and live as long as I can to be there for them.

My Program:
Spring 5% challenge
~I'm stocked up of freggies, water bottle is ready and my family has been warned!

~ Since I'm new to this neighborhood and returning to exercise, I am committing to two 15 minute walks through the neighborhood a day, until I get familiar with the surroundings and back in the swing of things.

~ New recipes approved, mostly stocked up but I keep finding spices that I need and don't have so I'm sure I will still be repacing some basics. I will stay within my spark recommended ranges.

~I will be checking in on the team daily and visitng one different members page each day

Personal Information:

    This is a hearty thank you to all my fellow Spirited Underdogs.

    I went cruising through the Weight Loss thread and was heartened to realize that even my 1 pound loss was a success - any weight loss is a success. Not gaining is a success.

    Gaining is just a stumble in our journey. Gaining is not a failure.

    We cannot fail unless we quit - and I am not going to be a quitter.

    I hope to see you all in the 5% Summer Challenge!

    HI hon !!! I noticed besides your total of your weight this week you wrote "ugh". I know when we hope a certain # it CAN be discouraging huh? I know I was also hoping for a # I also didn't get. I GAINED this week, over all though I was pleased with it. If you read my blog from today it'll explain such a STRANGE thought !! Cos that's a WEIRD thing to say !!

    So back to you. I do NOT want you to feel bad about not hitting the #'s you wanted,, there ARE things that CAN be done for next week hon. If your using ur food tracker (just HAPPENS to be this weeks LTGLs challenge ! if you are, PLEASE post it on the teams page for our points ! Along with any excerise ur doing ! THANKS if I just didn't see it, with 49 people doing this, I can't remember everyone). Ok so with that being done,, are you also drinking ur 8 glasses of water? Than are you doing the excerise you told the home page you would when you set it up? IF NOT, just simply reset the home page so it can readjust ur calories. That's NOT a big deal, life changes for ALL of us. I had to, I had surgery and am now not MOVING so I am now down to the least amount of cals allowed on the SP site. I don't mind. Its really OK with me.

    If those are done correctly, than I sent out an email last week with 25 things that can be done,,,, but IF your like me,,, you might of hit "delete" cos we ALL get OVERWHELMED with TO MANY emails !! YUPPERS ! FOR SURE !!! So if that happened,,, I can resend this to you so you can read it for urself. I DO NOT MIND this, I held on to it for peeps who need it, INCLUDING MYSELF when i start to move around and feel better. Its FINE to ASK for it and I WANT YOU TO if you don't still have it. It MAKES ME HAPPY ! Its WHY I DID this JOB to HELP YOU OUT !!! Something on that list WILL Help, and if NOT , we'll look further. I CARE !! We CARE !! The SPIRITED UNDER DOGS !     HI HI HI !! How are you doing? I HOPE U R OK? I've been going over the team postings and have noticed sadly, we haven't heard from you since Monday on the excerises and LTGL. So indeedy, We are HOPING you are just busy and just haven't had the time. We are asking that IF AT ALL possible from now on,,, if it's NOT STRESSING that you sign on daily and update the team page because those ,,, GRRRRR cats and FIRE crackers are RIGHT ON OUR dawggie TAILS and at this points are leading us in the LTGL points !! DEAR ME !!!! We are though AHEAD In AIR MILES !!! emoticon SO PLEASEY Update us as soon as you can. GREATLY appreciated !!
