This song is my theme song in getting back on track physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. I have had lots of ups and downs the last few years, but I keep plugging along!

Fitness Minutes: 47,484

My Goals:
Short-term goal: finish half marathon running program (Red Rock App)--in 2019 I completed all 12 weeks and I ran my first ever half marathon on 7/27 (this is all on the treadmill and I am slow--way slower than the pace the app thinks I should be able to run a half--but this was a huge victory for me!!!)
Long-term goal: Hike my 4th 14er (14,000 ft. mountain) in Summer 2020! Hoping to do 5 14ers before my 50th birthday.

My Program:
Running on the treadmill (turtle pace), Weight Training & pilates/stretching/balance work; SparkPeople for tracking, motivation, and support.

Personal Information:
Introvert Christian retired homeschool mom of 3 (one in high school, 2 in college), now part-time substitute teacher; wife for 27 years.

Other Information:
I'm 5'7" on a good day, 5'6.75" the others! I'm 48 years old. I think it's important for people to know those two details because those weight loss trackers can give us false expectations. I've often wondered why I can't fit in a certain size of clothing or run as fast a speed as someone the same weight, but we all have different body types and age plays a big factor. But we're all in this marathon together, so let's get to it!
