Joining a fitness club in February I weighed 204 pounds. I always said I was 5 foot tall and 5 foot wide. Not far from it tho'. Changes to be had.

Today april 7th I weigh 197 pounds and am 5 foot 2 inches

goal weight 160
start weight 204
May 20th 193 with a Personal goal of 190 for my birthday, 29th May
Well I did it even with all my diet splurges this W/E
190LBS on the head.
May 30th 188.5 Really doesn't pay to have dessert twice in a weekend!! Gained 2 LBS Joined two challenges for June ---
#1 is to loose 10LBS in the month ---- didn't do so good, only down 8 pounds
#2 is to loose to 160 by July end
Next personal challenge is to loose from now to 180LBS and get a DQ strawberry sundie --- hit 180.5 LBS on July 2nd.
Wish I had held that weight but am back up to 184.
Will have to kick up my exercise some and cut back on the calories some. Too many carbs and I know right where they sit -- right on my hips.
Well so-ooo long to 180LBS. I am up to 187LBS since I broke my 2 ribs. Had to slack back at the gym and take it easy on my program.
Aug. 5th I am back to routine. We burried Cliff's mom and have visited with all the folk down there. Moncton didn't have any more sites for us so we came home last night/morning. Got weighed today and was pleasantly supprised. Left here 187LBS and got back 186.5LBS. Guess I was better than I thought. Some of the portion size and what I can and can't eat must have made it into my mind. Great ! !

saw Dr. Monchesky and he D/C my Glyburide and O.J. in my gym water.

My Goals:
1st goal to reach 200LBS

2nd is to reach 180LBS & reward myself with a small DQ strawberry sundie. Reached goal on July 2nd and then two days later am fighting with a gain of 3.5LBS again. Frustrating!!

Broke two ribs and have to easy do it ! ! ! for 6 weeks. Painful little things they are.

Weight has been holding at 185.5LBS even with the gym. Will have to ''kick it up a notch''

Aug 30th and I am down to 182.5. I got a trainer and he set me up a routine. We meet again on Tuesday. Hope for some faster progress in loosing the weight.
Last goal ( 150 LBS ) and to wear the slinky black dress I got in Moncton for New Year''s 2007.


My Program:
following the SP food count for 1200-1500 cals. and follow my diabetic diet as well. Not doing well with the 1500 calorie thing. Go figure, Cliff can''t eat all his calories and I would gladly eat his leftovers and mine.

If I stay doing the exercise I am doing, going to the gym 5x a week and trying to stick to a 2000 cal. diet I seem to be loosing 2 LBS a month. Enough that I am off my diabetic meds and don''t see the Dr. for a year. Horray for me!!!!

I am a m/w/f from Whitby, Ont. Canada. Debbie is what my family calls me but friends call me Moemo.. Moe'' cookies, mo'' candy. A name my nephew gave me when he was at that rug rat age.


Other Information:
The "man of dreams" asked me to share his world two plus years ago. We have so - oo many of the same interrests, likes and values. It''s neet tho'', we can be feet apart,do our own thing, but enjoy one anothers company.

    Hi,read your page and had to congratulate you !!You are doing GREAT!I love how Cliff and you work together that is really a help to have someone there all the time in support!You look like a flambouyant woman (a good thing as I consider myself one and am drawn to the type!)who is a lot of fun!!I live in Northern Mn.and I love flowers ,gardens and birds ,anything country !I have started a group -Birds and Blooms and would LOVE to hear from you on our message Board or even have you as a member of our group!My one goal with the group is to be as supportive as I can be to everyone as its sooo important when you are struggling with this I believe!!Have a wonderful Holiday and hope to hear from you soon!!Margie

    I am nearly 52, 5 foot 2 inches and carry most of my weight around my middle. Being I am a retired from nurse I should know how to take care of my body -- but didn't listen to my inner voice. With my best of intensions I packed on the pounds and became diabetic. In 1989 I starved myself down to weigh 160 LBS and my weight just climed from there to 204 LBS when I joined Extreme Fitness mid February with my husband. I have had many abdominal surgery's which have left me with a mesh implant and weak stomach/back muscles. Also in 2000 I had a disc fusion in my L4-6 so I baby my lower back for fear of messing it up

    We, my husband and myself do Aqua fit 2x a week, Pilates 1x and the machines and cardio 2x a week. Usually we end up at the pool/hot tub on at least one of our days off "just for fun".

    It is so nice to have a partner that is in this and encourages me. I can sabatage myself enough so it is good he is there to keep me on track with encouragement and good healthy meals. "Together we can" loose our excess pounds. Cliff is an excellent cook and we are trying all kinds of new recipies. He's the home chef and I just feed us.

    Some of the recipies I am not keen on but try them just the same. Fish and legumes are new to my diet so here goes and hope I can learn to like them instead of red meat.

    With luck for New Years I will fit into a real nice dress without the yard goods of yesterday needed to cover me!
